5 QUESTIONS TO ASK WHEN CONTENT WRITING:
- Why are you building this web site?
Get down to the real reason why you want your website and what is your goal for that site.
- What would you say to a potential customer/client about your company?
Why should people use you, trust you, why are you the best, what makes your different from all the others?
- If you met someone at a network event and they asked what do you do, what would you tell them?
This information that should be on your home page as well as products, services, about etc.
- What product or service is most important to you?
Usually this is the most money-making product/service (though for some sites it is not about making money). This is the product or service you should highlight. Whether it’s your home page slider or stuff in your sidebars. This will help get customers to click through to the most important page on your site.
- What products, services, or information are secondarily important to you?
This information will be highlighted on your side bars or other breadcrumbs on the home page. This will increase clicks to other important pages on your site.
